Missions Ministry

As Christians, proclaiming the Gospel is our first and foremost purpose. While we preach the good news of Jesus Christ at Spruce Creek, our missions ministry is dedicated to sharing God's grace in our community, throughout our country, and overseas.

In our community, we serve by providing support to organizations that meet both physical and spiritual needs. These include HeavyGrace Ministries, Grace House Pregnancy Center, Resources for Women, and Halifax Urban Ministries. A team of volunteers, led by our elders, host weekly services at Manor on the Green, bringing church to local residents who are unable to travel.

Throughout our country and overseas, we support missionaries, pastors, and teachers working with a number of ministries, including Campus Outreach, Equipping Pastors International, and Mission to the World.

Our involvement in overseas missions includes hands-on ministry as well. Each summer, Spruce Creek sends a team to rural Nicaragua as part of a medical mission with Corner of Love Ministries.

We highlight our missions ministry every fall, during a weekend missions conference hosted at Spruce Creek. It is an honor to welcome missionaries as they share how God is working in different parts of the world.
