Missions Conference 2016

In light of this year’s focus, we are pleased to welcome two church planters from the Florida Church Plant Network: BJ Milgate and Russell Jeffares. BJ serves as the pastor of UPC Lake Nona in Orlando, and Russell serves as the pastor of Vintage Grace Church in Jacksonville. Both men bring a wealth of experience in thinking for their respective communities as they pastor and lead young and vibrant congregations. The purpose of this years’ missions weekend is twofold. First, Spruce Creek loves to support and pray for church plants. We believe church planting is an indispensable means of extending the gospel to the nations. As such, we have the opportunity to hear from two church planters regarding this important work within our broader geographical context. Second, because BJ and Russell bring a plethora of experience discipling and training others to love their neighborhoods and the unchurched well, we believe they have a lot to teach us too. Thus, we hope this weekend serves as an opportunity to train our congregation in loving the neighborhood(s) in which we reside and the people with whom we interact with each day. ** Due to technical difficulties only night 2 was recorded. **
